Its truly one of the most memorable wedding I ever covered and attended. Dr. Chong Kong Yong hailing from Kuala Lumpur and Jessica Thiew from a very beautiful village @ Sabah, East or rather the Borneo part of Malaysia.
Both met during in the General Hospital of Kota Kinabalu where Dr. Chong is pursuing his Specialisation in …. while Jessica works in Radiography Department as a Radiologist.
The most touching part was how he proposed to her, placing Styrofoam boards a day before on another village below hers, and while on their way back the next day, he stopped the car and bring her down to view from the top, with the boards reading "Will you marry me?" . The more interesting part of the whole story is that this was his second attempt without her knowledge of the first! Why?
On his first attempt, just as he was about to stop to show her, he realised the styrofoams he placed painstakingly the day earlier have all been destroyed by the water buffalos roaming that area. So, got to abort the plan to avoid disappointment!
Long story short, they are a loving couple who both share the passion in photography and beauty in life as well. After all they are one of a nice and beautiful couple!
Congratulations once again Dr. Chong and Jessica, and a big Thanks for the kind and generous hospitality shown to us in the 5 days we were there, not to mention how we have enjoyed ourselves and experiencing and preserving those happy and memorable moments of your life.
