It was yet another unforgettable learning experience for not just the kids and me this time but also the mums of some of the kids who participated in this Junior Photo Workshop (JPW) that is opened for the first time to parents / guardians... learning photography together with the kids while spending some quality time with them at Penchala Hills.
The young photographers (from left Maia, Caitlyn, Sophie, Aidan, Hao Zhe, Apple, Xi Honn & Chen) with me.
The morning started with heavy rain but that did not hamper the spirit of the kids and mum who all finally made it to the workshop.
It was a good 4 hours of sharing, classroom and outdoor activities, including one where everyone make and design their own photo mount / frame.
To sum up the whole experience, as one of the mum put it, "it was a real fun thing to do with the kids as it was a very interactive session"
.... and with some of their mums....
We ended with a simple lunch prepared by my sisters who happened to be there with me and with the kids and mums alike asking when will be the next workshop and looking forward to another one!
Bravo to my able assistant, Catherine and also Jonathan, Jiro and Alvin who helped me captured the preparation of the workshop and during the workshop in video!
